We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If something isn't right, we're here to help.
1. Return Window
You may return most items within 30 days of the delivery date, provided the conditions below are met.
2. Eligible Returns
To qualify for a return, items must be:
- Unused, in original condition, and in original packaging
- Free from damage caused after delivery
- Accompanied by proof of purchase (order number or receipt)
3. Non-Returnable Items
The following items are not eligible for return or refund:
- Custom-made / made-to-order parts — items manufactured to your specific dimensions, drawings, or specifications
- Items that have been used, modified, or installed
- Items returned outside the 30-day window
- Items returned without prior authorisation (see Section 5)
If you are unsure whether your item qualifies as custom-made, please contact us before placing your order.
4. Defective or Incorrect Items
If you received a defective, damaged, or incorrect item, please contact us within 30 days of delivery. In such cases:
- We will arrange a replacement or full refund at no cost to you
- Return shipping costs for faulty or incorrectly sent items will be covered by PrecisionGeek®
5. How to Initiate a Return
Before sending any item back, you must obtain a Return Authorisation (RA) from us:
- Email us at sales@precisiongeek.co.uk with your order number and reason for return
- We will respond within 2 business days with return instructions
- Pack the item securely and ship it to the address provided
Returns sent without prior authorisation may not be accepted.
6. Return Shipping Costs
Unless the return is due to our error (defective or wrong item), return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. We recommend using a tracked shipping service, as we cannot accept responsibility for items lost in transit.
7. Refunds
Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will notify you by email. If approved:
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days
- Original shipping costs are non-refundable — if you change your mind, we will refund the cost of the item only. The shipping fee paid at checkout covers the cost of dispatch and is not returned regardless of the reason for return, unless the item was defective or incorrectly sent by us
- If a partial refund is granted (e.g. item returned in less-than-perfect condition), we will inform you in advance
8. Exchanges
We do not offer direct exchanges. If you need a different item, please return the original (subject to eligibility) and place a new order.
9. EU & UK Consumer Rights
If you are based in the United Kingdom or the European Union, your statutory consumer rights apply in full and are not affected by this policy. Under UK Consumer Contracts Regulations and EU Consumer Rights Directive, you have the right to cancel a distance sale within 14 days of delivery without giving a reason. Our 30-day window exceeds this minimum and applies globally.
Custom-made goods are explicitly exempt from the 14-day cancellation right under both UK and EU legislation.
